Spectacular presentation piece in this Jack Lambert Pittsburgh Steelers game ball from the 1975-76 AFC Championship game. Hand-painted after the game and presented to Jack, one panel is painted gold with his name in black atop his number in white with "3 Fumble Recoveries." Top is dated Sun. Jan. 4, 1976, Three Rivers Stadium, and panel includes the score, Steelers 16, Raiders 10. As frigid cold and snow descended on Pittsburgh on that January day, both teams struggled for possession with the Steelers turning the ball over no less than eight times, yet still prevailing largely thanks to Lambert's defensive efforts. Completing the magnificent presentation, Lambert has signed the panel below the painted one in bold silver marker with HOF '90 inscription. Ball is in EX-MT condition but does not hold air very well.
