Vanderbilt and Chauncey Depew, famous in his own right. Vanderbilt played a role in the management of the Coney Island Jockey Club and served as its president. 2) 200 shares of stock issued to Leonard W. Jerome’s company, the financial mogul and pioneering horse racing executive. 3) Hudson River RR company assignment issued to Leonard W. Jerome. 4) 1879 certificate signed by J.B. Haggin. 5) 1884 bank check signed by famed horseman Theodore Winters. All are in superb, Near Mint condition.
