ADDENDUM: All items in the Jack Lambert Collection, including this one, will come with an LOA from Jack Lambert.
Tremendous significance in this game worn helmet from legendary Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Jack Lambert. Throughout the 1970s, players brought their own game helmets to the Pro Bowl, which were then painted for the annual All-Star contest. This was originally his Steelers helmet from the 1975-76 Super Bowl Championship season, which was then painted up for the Pro Bowl. According to a 2013 Bleacher Report article, the 1976 contest was the only Pro Bowl in which a single stripe was used going down the center of the helmet and that would be the first of Lambert's nine appearances. Rawlings size 7 5/8, suspension inside with all padding, and the outline of the original "58" is visible on back where it was painted over. Because of his repeated selections, Lambert game worn Steelers helmets are so scarce as several were painted over at the end of those years.
