These GAC/NEMS issued ID passes were valid at all 14 North American tour stops. Security was extremely tight on this final concert tour amidst the controversy surrounding John's much publicized comments on Christianity. While Lennon's words were taken out of context, Beatles' manager, Brian Epstein, seriously considered canceling the tour out of a serious concern for the group's physical well-being. This ID pass is of particular interest as it was issued to William Hanley of Hanley Sound, owner of the company contracted to supply the amplification and public address systems. Only a few of these around! Moderate creasing.
