Rare Type I image circa 1910 of the Georgia Peach, Ty Cobb. Apparently taken at Spring Training, the prolific hitter is posed in uniform with bat in hand. One bottom corner crease and some black smudging do not impact the central figure in this 3.5x3.5" photo. Reverse has ID in pencil, and stamps indicating that this is from the massive Brown Brothers photo collection. Encapsulated PSA Type I Authentic.
