Clever circa 1913 glass plate negative of the New York Yankees. Taken at spring training, players are seated on the bleachers to form "NY" for New York. One of a kind, from the camera negative measures 5x7", displays some spotting down the right side and is another gem from the legendary Brown Brothers photo collection. The '13 season was actually the first in which the franchise exclusively used the "Yankees" moniker, and was also their first at the Polo Grounds, which they shared with the Giants until 1923.
