Addendum: There is an error in the copy found in the printed catalog. This is a complete set that DOES include card #205 Johnny Sain.
A complete set (250/250) of Topps baseball from 1954, in STELLAR condition. Bright, beautifully colored set, loaded with stars and showcasing Ted Williams at the bookends. Rookie cards include Al Kaline, Ernie Banks and of course Hank Aaron. Star cards grade as follows:#1 Williams (PSA EX 5), 3 Irvin (NM+), 10 J. Robinson (PSA EX-MT 6), 17 Rizzuto (NM-MT), 20 Spahn (NM-MT), 30 Mathews (NM-MT), 32 Snider (NM+, slight oc), 37 Ford (NM-MT, slight oc), 50 Berra (PSA NM 7), 70 Doby (NM-MT), 90 Mays (PSA EX MT 6), 94 Banks RC (PSA EX MT 6), 106 Hodges (EX-MT), 128 Aaron RC (PSA NM 7), 132 LaSorda (NM-MT), 201 Kaline RC (PSA NM-MT 8), #205 Sain (NM-MT 8) and 250 Williams (PSA NM-MT 8 OC). The cards are in exceptional condition, with approx. 70% grading NM or better, 20% EX-MT and 10% only slightly lesser. Approximately 20% of the cards are slightly to moderately oc, but virtually every card appears to be right out of a pack.
All in all, a WORLD-CLASS near-set of Topps baseball from 1954, worthy of registry status.
Total of 249 cards.
