Original, from-the-camera, cellulose negative of the great Casey Stengel, taken by photography legend Charles Conlon. Nice head-and-shoulders portrait measures 4x5" and comes in its original envelope with Conlon's writing on it; negative also has Conlon's writing at top. This photo was taken in 1935 and used in the 1936 Baseball Guide; Casey embarked on his Hall of Fame managerial career with the Dodgers in 1934 and he would move on to capture seven World Series championships as manager of the New York Yankees.
