Beautiful example of Bowman’s popular Firefighters issue from 1953. This colorful set depicts firefighting equipment used by the city of New York from its earliest days (horse-drawn vehicles) through modern day equipment. The set is a high-grade offering, with 90% NM or better and 10% only slightly lesser. The only detraction is that 1/3 of the cards are either oc or mc, which is quite common for this issue. Otherwise, a beautiful set, worthy of the finest collections! Total: 64 cards.
