Race worn Adidas track shoes, used by track legend Edwin Moses, who won an astounding 122 consecutive races in the 400 meter hurdles. Red suede shoes have six pointed metal spikes on each sole for traction, and show nice use. Moses has signed the outside of each in black marker along with "400" and "47.02" inscriptions around a drawing of a hurdle. That time denotes the World Record that the elite hurdler set in 1983. His storied career included eight Gold Medals in international competition including two at the Olympics - in 1976 and '84 (note that the US boycotted the 1980 games in Moscow).
