Most likely dating from the 1970s, this 28" diameter metallic sign heralds the era's stomping grounds for the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. Sign reads "Veteran's Stadium Philadelphia" in blue on white background circling the Liberty Bell. The yellow background to the bell has faded to more of an eggshell color, and it shows visible wear that does not affect the presentation value. Has five heavy duty strips of tape on back for mounting. The Phils and Eagles toiled at The Vet from 1974-2003, and on 17 occasions it also played host to the annual Army-Navy football game.
