Outstanding history in this circa 1923 New York Yankees team photo. Trimmed to 9x4.5", the black and white shot identifies the team in blue ink on reverse, and has stamps from legendary photo collection service Brown Brothers. The 1923 season was not only the first ever for Yankee Stadium, but the Bronx Bombers also celebrated with their first ever World Series title. Of particular rarity is the appearance of Gehrig in this team shot.  Gehrig was only on the team for a few games this season.  PSA Type I Authentic encapsulated.
