In the first Olympic Winter Games on U.S. soil since the 1980 Olympic Winter Games in Lake Placid, N.Y., Team USA did not disappoint the home crowd. After blanking Finland, 6-0, in Team USA’s first game, the U.S. tied Russia, 2-2, before garnering an 8-1 victory against Belarus to close out preliminary-round play. After defeating Germany, 5-0, in the quarterfinal round, the U.S. knocked off Russia, 3-2, in a rematch in the semifinals. In a hard-fought gold-medal game, the U.S. dropped a 5-2 decision to Canada to claim the silver medal, the United States’ first medal since winning gold in 1980. From that wonderful Olympic performance comes this game used Mike Richter Team USA jersey. Blue and red jersey has Nike size 58G manufacturers tagging in the collar along with "IIHF" tag, "MADE IN CANADA" flag and "USA HOCKEY" label. The front features a large "USA" logo with number "35" on both shoulders and across the back just below the "RICHTER" nameplate. Jersey shows tremendous use with loose threads, light pilling and a cut on the left sleeve.
