Victor Award trophy awarded to football star Glenn Davis in 1986. Honoring pro and college athletes for their contributions, the Victor Award was founded in 1966 and is billed as, "...the longest running sports awards program on television." Trophy on wood base depicts an athlete extending a laurel wreath, base measures 3.25" high and 5.5" in diameter, and entire piece is 16" high from base to wreath. Inscribed plate names Davis along with, "In recognition of your extraordinary achievements in football - Victor Awards XX 1986." Figure shows some wear but piece still presents beautifully. Davis led Army to three National Championships from 1944-46 and earned the Heisman in 1946 from the halfback position.
