Before he was winning championships at North Carolina and with the Chicago Bulls, Michael Jordan was running up and down the courts at Laney High School in Wilmington, North Carolina. The game's greatest all-time player enjoyed a two-year varsity career that culminated in a senior campaign in which he averaged a triple-double and earned a spot in the McDonald's All-American Game.  From the early days in MJ's career comes these two never before seen photographs of the future Hall of Famer playing in high school. Jordan played high school basketball during his junior and seniors years, so we can assume these images were taken between 1979-81. The photos are simply amazing and feature a beautiful Jordan follow through while the other shows Jordan during a tip-off wearing his jersey with the soon to be famous "23."  Completely fresh to market, these once in a lifetime photographs we expertly taken by our consignor's father; a Wilmington, North Carolina native. Each 3.5x5.25" color photograph is printed on Kodak stock that is labeled "This Paper, Manufactured, By Kodak." There is some discoloration noticed on the upper and right edge of one of the photographs.
