Known for his speed on the basepaths, Maury Wills was the National League MVP in 1962 after stealing a record 104 bases to break the old modern era mark of 96, set by Ty Cobb in 1915. Offered is this pristine road jersey from his days in Pittsburgh with the Pirates. Gray Spalding flannel is all original with "42" size tag, cleaning instructions and an embroidered "Wills" on the front tail. "Pirates - 30" across the front and a simple "30" on the back; all in black on yellow. Shows nice use and has been very well preserved.
