Interestingly, Carter wore number 12 during spring training in 1991 since his famed number 8 was taken; he was eventually given number 8 for the regular season. All original and retains its Rawlings size 46 tag in collar with “Set 1 1991” flag tag still firmly attached. Signed on the front by Carter in black Sharpie and inscribed, “#12 1991 Spring Training” and then again on the back with a simple “1991” inscription. Shows use with a few small stains and presents extremely well.
