Offered as a 12 page premium for Old Judge and Dog’s Head cigarettes, this round album page was issued by Goodwin & Company of New York and was originally part of a set that featured some of the biggest names in baseball at the time.  Smokers of the day would save the coupons found in the packs and mail them in to redeem this scarce and not often seen premium.  This one-page example features New York’s Slattery, Murphy, Crane and Hatfield; the 1888 team’s statistics found on the reverse.  Technically VG, this example looks beautiful and presents very well with its bright and vibrant colors.
