Sign and bracket from the renovation of Notre Dame Stadium. Metal sign measures 20x17.5" with metal bracket, "Gate 8" is painted in gold lettering on blue background on both sides. Both sides show wear and tear with some rust on the bracket and scratching of the paint, though one side still presents almost perfectly and this can easily be restored. Iconic Fighting Irish Coach Knute Rockne himself had a hand in the original design of the stadium, which is entering its 90th year of operation.

The following items are from a private collection of a long-time Notre Dame football fanatic. The quality of this collection is the finest that we have seen.  It has taken a half century to procure these items and now is the first time that some of them have seen the light of day.
