Great edition of the Boston Globe Sunday Magazine "Stars on TV" pen and ink original art series. While the subject is a "Salute to Baseball" - with Babe Ruth front-and-center - an interesting crossover includes Albert Einstein. These Eddie Germano illustrations were intended to highlight upcoming television programs and there are two great images of the Bambino, including one in his iconic follow through. Highlighted is an NBC special from 1956 with a "Welcome to the Baseball season, topped off by a film clip of a patented Babe Ruth home run." Measures 11x15" with some minor discoloration around edges, stamped "Apr 16 1956" on verso, in EX condition.
