Comes from a huge Secretariat collection. The collector actually got the lock of hair in person at Claiborne farms when he went to visit Secretariat. The groom pulled the hair right from Secretariat's mane handed it to the collector's daughter, who was in a stroller at the time. As for the signed photo, included is legendary owner Penny Tweedy (Chenery), though the signature that is the rarest on there is trainer Lucien Lauren. The
photo is also signed in red by Ron Turcotte. Very limited number of examples in the hobby - this is one of the few. Matted and framed to 18x13", the hair taken directly from "Big Red" is mounted to the left of the Winner's Circle photo. Comes with Letter of Provenance detailing its history.
