Single-signed baseball by President Harry Truman. Official American League (Harridge) baseball is signed on a side panel by Truman in ballpoint pen ink. The signature is very bold rating 9 out of 10. Added by unknown hand in blue ink is the date of 1949, which is positioned underneath the signature. The ball was signed during the Washington Senators' Opening Day Game played at Griffith Stadium in 1949 for an 11 year old boy, who was traveling to the game with the President and Secretary of Labor Maurice Tobin.
