Complete set of N99 “Battle Scenes” cards (25), produced by Duke’s Cigarettes / Gail & Ax in 1887. Quite popular among nonsport collectors due to its Civil War theme and outstanding artwork. Cards grade 15% EX-MT, 30% EX, 20% VG-EX, 25% VG and 10% lesser. 5 cards have minor back damage or light writing; 16 cards have Duke backs; with 9 having the Gail & Ax logo. Very sharp-looking set, seldom seen in completed form.
