This quartet of caps includes a 1970s Detroit Tigers hat worn by Rusty Staub and featuring his #10 written under the brim, a late 1960s Tulsa Oilers cap worn by instructor Paul "Daffy" Dean (LOA), late 1980s Texas Rangers cap signed by Nolan Ryan and early 1990s Chicago Cubs cap, which is unattributed, and very well worn and dirty.

The following items were obtained from the players themselves by a former umpire who was an early collector of game worn material. He had displayed his items with small typed descriptions of the items so that all friends and visitors would know what they were looking at. Most of the items come with the original, vintage typed cards that were displayed with the items.
