Backup outfielder Cliff Mapes spent part of four seasons with the Yankees between 1948 and 1951, during which time he wore this classic navy Yankees cap during action. Also included in the lot is his L16 model game-used bat, game-worn spikes and game-worn fielder's glove from his 1952 season with Tigers - his last in the majors. Also in the lot are two 1950 World Champion Yankees team-signed baseballs, each boasting 22 signatures, including Joe DiMaggio. Both are in rough shape. The following Mapes baseball cards round out the set: 1952 Topps, 1950 Bowman, 1948 R346 Blue Tint, 1952 Bowman (2) and a signed custom card.
