During the not-so-politically-correct 1970s, the Philadelphia Phillies employed young "Fillies" to attract more male fans to home games. Here's a complete "Hot Pants Patrol" uniform, which includes jacket, white shirt and maroon "hot pants" incorporated into a jumpsuit with white Phillies "P" logo and pinstripe. The short jacket has brass buttons as well as the same familiar logo. The "Patrol" debuted on Opening Day at Veterans Stadium in 1971 and lasted until 1982. Quite a piece of memorabilia from a bygone era in Philly sports.
