Incredible image depicting the 1923 National Vaudeville Artists posing in front of a stately building entrance on which hangs their Annual Tour banner. To the left of the troupe is Vaudeville star W.C. Fields, who is identified in ink above his head. Many of the members are sporting New York Giants baseball caps, which were likely obtained from the team. One man is holding a "N.V.A." pennant while another is identified as Ralph in ink. There is some wear, chipping and tears, as well as evidence of repairs made years ago. The reverse side features the partially covered words: "SEASON 1923." Measures 13x10" and offers a terrific peek into life a century ago.
