Addendum:  The title of this lot in the printed catalog is incorrect and has been changed in the online version of the catalog.  According to the PSA certification number this bat is in fact a 1988 Barry Bonds game used example not 1998 as previously titled.  Bonds played with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1988 not the SF Giants. The bat also has a standard PSA LOA with no grade. The LOA does state "it is our opinion the bat is authentic, and was used by Bonds during the referenced labeling period."

Louisville Slugger model H238 Barry Bonds professional model bat exhibits evidence of heavy use with a handle crack. Many ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the barrel; ball marks include black ink transfers. Cleat marks can be seen on the right and back barrel. Also visible on the bat are green and blue bat rack streaks and there is a heavy coat of pine tar on the handle. Bonds' number (24) is written on the knob in black marker. It appears that another number could have been written on the knob as well. Comes with PSA LOA. 33.5", 32 ounces.
