Tom Terrific was the first true star for the New York Mets and one of the finest moundsmen of his time. His stellar season of '69 brought a World Championship to New York and was a perfect close to the sixties. After his days with the Mets, Seaver was one of the most dominating pitchers that Cincinnati had ever seen. This tan Rawlings XPG-6-P model glove shows super use, appears to have been used for multiple seasons and comes with a detailed letter from an ex-Red stating the he was gifted the glove by the famed Cincinnati equipment manager Bernie Stowe. Extremely soft and still 100% functional, this glove features all of its original lacing and an extremely faint "41" in marker next to the Rawlings label on the wrist strap. Interestingly, this fine piece photo-matched to the glove that is worn on his 1979 Kellog's card.
