An original 1932 Summer Olympics participation badge attributed to Babe Didrkison. The official badge features the Olympic rings with "Xth Olympiad, Los Angeles" at top and number "884" in center. The badge is marked Whitehead & Hoag of Newark, NJ, with their seal on reverse. The badge is attributed to the female athlete of the century because it, along with the two Didrikson letters and AAU award in this sale, were purchased from the same Dallas source over 30 years ago. The badge is in Excellent condition but does need a professional cleaning and has some minor rusting on reverse.
