Collection of several nice sets of prewar non-sports: - 1944 R59 Gum Inc. ‘American Beauties’ complete set of 24. Overall in pleasing EX condition, with several nicer. - 1930s R72 Schutter & Johnson ‘I’m Going to Be’ near-set of 24/25. Cards range from GD to EX; missing the very elusive #4 ‘Strongman’ card. - 1933 R30-1 Blatz Gum ‘Chicago World’s Fair’ complete set of 32. This is the scarcer version with no numbering or advertising. High grade NM condition. - 1930 World Wide Gum ‘Jungle Gum’ starter set of 17/72. While this group makes up only 25% of the set, the cards are in beautiful and seldom-seen EX to EX-MT condition, with a few even better. - 1935 R41 Walter H. Johnson ‘Dick Tracy’ run of 24 high numbers (#s 121-144). High grade NM and better, presumably from the now-famous find of high numbers in the 1980s.
