Impressive game used bat by Robin Roberts' catcher, Andy Etchebarren, who caught for Roberts during the years 1962-65 while with the Orioles. This Adirondack is stamped "194CK" on the knob along with Etchebarren's handwritten number "8." What's most interesting about this bat is the unique signature and inscription. Signed by Robin Roberts with many inscriptions that read, "I pitched in the major leagues from 1948-1966. I won 286 games. started 13 Opening Day games. From Aug 28-1952 - July 9-1953 I pitched 28 straight complete games. Won 20 games - 6 consecutive seasons (1950-1955). Elected to Baseball Hall of Fame 1976."
