A total of five Baseball Bureau cards from members of the 1919 World Champion Cincinnati Reds, who benefited from the malfeasance of the notorious Chicago "Black Sox". The collection includes: Greasy Neale, Heine Groh, Billy Zitzmann, Jimmy Smith, and Larry Kopf. Neale, Zitmann and Kopf signed their card and hand wrote information on the front and back, while Groh and Smith hand wrote info on the front or back. The information included address, age, date of birth and even team history. Each card is dated from either 1913, 1915, 1916, or 1924. 2019 marks the 100th Anniversary of the most infamous scandal in sports history. The 1919 World Series was the scene of the crime, the culprits were eight members of the Chicago “Black Sox” and the crime was game fixing. Shoeless Joe Jackson and seven other members of the “Black Sox” were subsequently banned from baseball three years later and that ban still stands to this day.
