The 1914 B18 Baseball Blankets set is not only one of the most unique sets in the hobby, it's also one of the rarest and hardest to complete. The set consists of 181 beautiful and brightly colored 5.25" flannel squares that feature images of the players, pennants, and equipment of the time. Interestingly, many collectors sewed them together to create baseball "blankets" and B18's nickname was born. These soft flannel inserts were found in various cigarette manufacturers packs and are seldom found in this high grade condition. This near complete set (178/181) is in outstanding condition and features all notables and Hall-of-Famers including Ty Cobb, Frank Chance, Bobby Wallace, Walter Johnson, Rabbit Maranville, Casey Stengel, Zack Wheat, Max Carey, Joe Kelly, Miller Huggins and of course, Shoeless Joe Jackson (one SGC). The only three missing blankets are Nemo Leibold (YB), Ivy Olson (YB) and Steve O'Neill (YB). An outstanding opportunity to obtain one of the most interesting tobacco sets every created.
