A set of 16 highly rare postcard photos from the Negro Leagues' most troubled times following the breaking of the major league color barrier. By this time, the Indianapolis Clowns were pretty much living up to their name, featuring King Tut King, Ed Hamman, Prince Joe Henry, Nature Boy Williams and the dwarf Spec Bebop, who never played, all on display here in Type 1 images taken by Norm Paulson. Some are stamped SAMPLE or PROOF for use in a postcard set.
