The Montreal Canadiens captured their 21st Stanley Cup in the spring of 1978, besting the Boston Bruins in the Finals for the second consecutive season. This trophy - a miniaturized version of the official prize - comes directly from the hands of longtime Habs trainer Eddy Palchak who composed and signed an LOA. Standing 13" tall, the wording on the stately trophy reads: "LE CLUB DE HOCKEY CANADIEN - 1977-78" then lists 10 team executives, the 23-man roster, and two trainers including Palchak himself. This was Montreal's third of four consecutive Stanley Cup championships.
