One of the rarest helmets you'll ever encounter, this leather beauty hails from the 1930's, when players were suffering concussions, and even deaths, due to head trauma. Here's one of the nicest of the few specimens we have ever handled as it is all-original and includes the chin strap and lace-up back. The Spalding logo is stamped on the front, with ZHN patent numbers stamped on the back. A player's number 2 is also evident in black on the back, as well as a player's name of "Ogan" and the year "33" also written very neatly and in small lettering. A classic piece of Americana!
