Extremely rare 1895 Yale vs. Princeton Football game. This is the nicest specimen we've seen. From the dean of 19th century game makers, the McLoughlin Brothers the game box exhibits incredible color litho graphics. This game represents the height of 19th century football lithography. There is a generic version of this game but this one is ten times rarer. The box bottom serves as a colorful game board with the Yale and Princeton monikers in the corners. The game comes with two spinners (with Y and P initials surrounding spinner), 4 (of 11) blue game pieces, 4 (of 11) orange-yellow game pieces, and one red game piece representing the ball. Absolutely gorgeous condition. The box corners have been reinforced to give it strength.
