Wonderful Dingler's Piet Retief Boxer Brand Tobacco tin. The tin measures 14" by 9" by 9" and originally held 10 lbs. of tobacco. The tobacco tin originated in South Africa and has both English and Dutch/Boer languages upon it. Piet Retief refers to the Boer patriot who was murdered by the Zulus in 1838. The tin has fantastic graphics despite the amount of wear to the container. It is in overall good condition with fabulous eye appeal on this rare tin.
