From the 1924 Babe Ruth & Bob Meusel Barnstorming Tour. These two 2.5x4.5" Type I photographs and four negatives (avg appx 3x5”) are from October 22nd in Dunsmuir, CA. The cool quality images show: 1) Babe Ruth and Bob Meusel, and 2) player on the opposing team. As far as the negatives: 3-4) two show Babe Ruth standing on the field, and 5-6) the other two are game action photos. The grandfather to our consignor's uncle was a professional photographer in Dunsmuir and took these photos himself. Depicted here, but not included, is an advertisement of the photographer that the family still owns. The lot comes with a Letter of Authenticity from the family. Lelands just sold a beautiful real photo postcard of Ruth batting at the game for nearly $20,000 in the Lelands 2019 Winter Classic.
