In 1952 Bowman produced one of their landmark sets, U.S. Presidents. Complete at 36 cards, each described either a very important part of early US history or a brief history of the president himself. With beautiful artwork, these cards set a high bar for the many Bowman and Topps sets that followed. In fact, Topps so loved the set that after they consumed Bowman in 1955-56, they reproduced it as one of their own. And not satisfied with only two versions of this glorious set, they produced it yet again in 1972, adding the few presidents elected in the interim. Here we have 360+ cards from the 1956 issue, including two (2) complete sets of 36, three (3) near sets, one (1) partial set and over 150 singles, the vast majority in high grade. A full 40% of the cards would grade as NM or better, 40% as EX-MT to NM, and 20% only slightly lesser. Great opportunity to pick up many high grade cards from this issue and either complete as sets or have them graded to sell individually. Any way you look at it, a great collectible and a smart investment.
