The Patricks were the First Family of Ice Hockey. The early history of the game is heavy with tales of the Patricks and their contributions on and off the ice. This ancient wool sweater was purchased from the estate of Walter Patrick, first cousin of Frank and Lester Patrick. Walter was a champion Junior player in Vancouver during the Twenties. This uniform, in blue with white trim, was manufactured by the Universal Knitting Company. High quality garment matching the style of the period with large, doubled-over collars. An impressive uniform from an historic hockey family. Well preserved with a few small, barely discernable holes. With detailed letter outlining the provenance.
