This shows great use and has been painted by the team several times. Rusty Staub played in the Majors for 23 years and had success with the New York Mets and Montreal Expos, among other teams. Staub played the 1976-78 seasons for the Detroit Tigers and part of the 1979 campaign.  "10" is stuck on the back and also written inside the helmet on the padding. One piece of the original padding inside is missing. "STAUB" in Dymo tape on the brim, likely put on by collector who originally owned this. Gothic "D" decal on the front.
