Bag gloves were used extensively by Muhammad Ali at his Deer Lake, PA, training facility. Known as "Fighter's Heaven," the camp was where Ali trained for many fights, including Rumble in the Jungle (1974) and Thrilla in Manila (1975). Ali used to air box local kids at the camp. After his fighting career, Ali permitted battered women to live at the camp free of charge. Red Everlast gloves show lots of use. Comes with letter detailing how the gloves were gifted by Ali's business manager, Gene Kilroy.
