This magnificent box, itself in bright EX to EX-MT condition, contains 500+ cards and was the first of ten consecutive years in which Topps would manufacture 528 cards in a single series. The keys to the set are Terry Bradshaw (#15), George Blanda (#25), Fran Tarkenton (#60), Dick Butkus (#300), Joe Namath (#400), Johnny Unitas (#455), Roger Staubach (#475) and Steve Spurrier (#481), as well as the rookie cards of Ken Anderson (#34), Art Shell (#77 – hard-to-find in top grade), Franco Harris (#89 – likewise hard-to-find in top grade), Jack Ham (#115), Dan Dierdorf (#322), Jack Youngblood (#343) and Ken Stabler (#487). While it is impossible to guarantee grades from unopened vending, it is entirely possible that this box includes MINT and GEM MINT examples of such stars.
