Thigpen played infrequently in his first three seasons, but had a breakout year in 1994, catching 36 passes for 546 yards. Then in 1995, he made the Pro Bowl, catching 85 passes for 1,307 yards and five touchdowns, and assisting his team to Super Bowl XXX. From his breakout 1994 season is this Yancey Thigpen game worn Pittsburgh Steelers jersey. From the Steelers archive, this white jersey features number "82" across the front, back and both shoulders along with "Thigpen" sewn onto the nameplate. Year "94" and Starter and size "46" tags are found on the tail and are firmly attached. Although the "75th Anniversary" patch has been removed, this jersey is highly original and shows nice use with a few team repairs, paint transfers and abrasions.
