Unusual montage (11x14") with primitive painted diamond. Players are at their positions. List of all players & two execs at bottom (can't make out). Sam Bankhead. Wear with piece out of the bottom; Pitchers: Miller, H.L. Wright, Porter, Baily, and Gisentataner. Catchers: V. Williams and Tuker. Infieders: West, Samm T. Hughes (famous Negro League  second baseman), Walker and Felton Snow. Outfielders: Stratton, Sam Bankhead and M. Wright. Sam Bankhead had four brothers who played baseball professionally: Joe, Fred, and Garrett all played in the Negro Leagues, and brother Dan Bankhead was the Major League's first black pitcher when he briefly joined Jackie Robinson on the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947. Sam Bankhead also became the first African-American manager in minor league baseball when he was the player/manager for the Farnham Pirates of the Provincial League in 1951. The montage shows wear, with an some fading in the lower left corner, wrinkling, creasing. The player photos are in good condition. Fresh discovery from former Negro League player.
