Addendum: This set includes the first 24 cards which are extremely tough to find. They actually made reprints of this set AT THE TIME and the originals are quite difficult. The originals do not have the “cross hatch” in the middle of the letter “w”. That is the sure fire way to tell.
In 1936 Gum Inc. produced this very popular good guys/bad guys set. Cards are in overall G-VG condition; the collection contains the first (PSA 3), last (PR) and many of the more difficult cards: #45 (PSA 4), 57 (FR-GD), 64 (PSA 4 mc), 76 (PR-FR), 88 (PSA 2.5), 88 (PSA 2), 94 (PR-FR), 100 (PR), 107 (GD), among others. Some additional cards have been professionally graded: #1 (PSA 3), 38 (PSA 5), 51 (PSA 4), 155 (PSA 5), 196 (PSA 2), 203 (PSA 2), 212 (PSA 2 mk), 239 (PSA 3). Card #s 1-24 are mostly VG; #s 25-200 are primarily EX, and those over 200 are mostly VG. About 1/3 of the cards are duplicates, almost all of them weaker condition low numbers.
