1967-68 Roberto Clemente Puerto Rican Professional League All-Star Game Trophy. Originated directly from the Clemente family, LOA. Hall of Famer Clemente came from Puerto Rico and played in their Winter League for many seasons, even when he was in the Major Leagues with the Pittsburgh Pirates. In this 1967-68 season, he played rather sparingly, but still hit .382 for the San Juan Senators. The plaque at the base of the trophy reads, "Presented by the Rawlings Sporting Goods Company for his selection as a member of the Sporting News Puerto Rican Professional League All-Star Team." Higher on the trophy another plate reads, "Roberto Clemente Right Field All-Star 1967-68." Trophy measures 6.25x11.25x17". A thin 3-inch metal bat is included that can rest in the batting figure's hands. Trophy exhibits some minor rusting on lower metal plate, otherwise excellent condition.
