Despite hitting merely 97 home runs and batting .250 as a team, the White Sox used great speed and superb defense to reach the World Series, losing 4-games-to-2 to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Originated from the Collection of Billy Pierce, a key starting pitcher on the team. Very high grade. Keys include Hall of Famer Nellie Fox, Hall of Famer Luis Aparicio, Hall of Fame Manager Al Lopez (signed on sweet spot), Billy Pierce, Big Ted Kluszewski, Al Smith, Gary Peters, Norm Cash, and Turk Lown.
